Published figures
| Qex | Flowcode | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry paid plan | $4/month, or $36/year, plus VAT. 1,000 active codes and unlimited scans. | Pro Plus is the first paid individual tier on the pricing page: up to 50 Flowcodes and landing pages, analytics for up to 6,000 scans, 3 seats. Notes of that page from August 2026 record the price as $25/month billed annually, or $60 month to month. Growth is recorded at $250/month billed annually. The code and scan caps are on the page itself. |
| Free dynamic codes | 10 active after an email, 5 before. Unlimited scans, and the analytics cover those scans for 30 days. | 2 Flowcodes. The comparison table marks lifetime scans (“Always scan”) on every tier, including free. Analytics on free stop at 500 scans. |
| What a scan opens | An instant HTTP 302. No ad screen on any plan. | The free tier is marked ad-free. There is no interstitial in the published plan table. |
| Analytics | 30 days on free, 5 years on Pro, no scan-count ceiling on the history. | Free: 500 scans. Pro Plus: 6,000 scans. Growth: the first 10,000 scans, with geolocation. Past the cap, the pricing table does not say the code stops scanning; it caps the analytics. |
| When you stop paying | Codes that are already active keep redirecting. Creating more uses the free cap (10, or 5 before an email). Device and country rules stop, because those run only while the workspace is Pro. Analytics in the dashboard go back to 30 days; older scans stay stored. | The pricing table marks “Always scan” on paid tiers as well as free. It does not spell out, in the rows we could read, what happens to edit access after a cancellation. |
| Printed size | A short link written in capitals, so the pattern is version 1: 21×21 modules. A logo in the centre steps up to 25×25. | Not published. A dynamic code has to hold their redirect address, so the module count follows the length of that address. |
What Flowcode’s page lists that Qex does not sell
Landing pages, artist-made templates, CRM and CDP integrations, webhooks, bulk creation, collaboration seats, and an enterprise line sold by demo. Flowcode is an attribution platform that happens to start with a QR code. Qex does not collect CRM contacts or build landing pages.
