QR code for a website

Paste the URL. The QR holds a short Qex link, not the long marketing URL, so campaign parameters and seasonal pages can move without a new print run.

Content

OnRecommendedScans are counted and you can change the link any time — the printed code stays the same.OffThe link is baked into the code. No scan stats, and it can't be changed after you print it.

Short link in the ink, long link in the dashboard

Encoding a 120-character campaign URL makes a dense, brittle QR. Encoding HTTPS://QEX.ME/AB3XK stays 21×21. UTM tags belong on the destination, where you can edit them.

Posters, packaging, slides

Same tool. If the destination is a PDF, a menu, or Instagram, the specialised pages add better field labels — the code you get is the same kind of dynamic short link.

Questions

Is this different from the homepage generator?

Same builder, copy aimed at “I have a website.” The homepage A/B-tests layout. This URL is the stable page for that search.

Can I use my own domain in the QR?

The printed code is a Qex short link (qex.me). That is what keeps it tiny and editable. The destination can be any domain you own.

What happens if I pause the code?

Scans see a paused page instead of your site. Unpause to resume. The printed QR does not change.

Will it stay 21×21 if I add a logo?

A centre logo needs higher error correction and becomes 25×25. Still small. Skip the logo if you need the smallest possible sticker.
